Your Role at Belgian Yum
As an Operations & Production Manager, you will be the key driver of operational excellence—ensuring our production runs efficiently, consistently, and at scale. You will lead daily production, optimize workflows, and prepare Belgian Yum for rapid growth into a commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead production operations
Oversee daily product production including batching, baking, cooling, and packaging to ensure consistent quality and output - Drive efficiency and throughput
Continuously improve production processes to increase units per hour without compromising product quality - Manage and develop team
Train and lead production staff, ensuring accountability, performance, and strong team culture - Implement operational systems
Create and enforce SOPs for consistency, food safety, and scalability - Inventory and supply management
Monitor ingredients, packaging, and materials to prevent shortages or delays - Prepare for scale
Support transition into commercial kitchen and future automation
Flexible Scheduling and Reliability
- Must meet required full-time schedule (40+ hours/week)
- Availability during early mornings or production peaks
- Consistent attendance and reliability are critical
Qualifications/Experience
- 3+ years experience in food production, bakery, or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of process optimization and workflow management
- Experience managing small teams (2–5 people)
- Knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe/HACCP preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
